What is Document Management?
Document Management is the computerized management of electronic as well as paper-based documents. Document management systems generally include an optical scanner and OCR system to convert paper documents into an electronic form. Document Management can also be a database system to organize stored documents, or a search mechanism to quickly find specific documents.
